Biography
Prof. Nermin Shaker is a Professor of Psychiatry in Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt and Deputy Chair of Research Unit, General Secretariat of Mental Health & Addiction Treatment. She has been specialized as Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry since 2003 till now. She had Master of Science in Neuropsychiatry from Ain Shams University, Cairo (1999), Diploma in Psychiatric Practice (DPP) from conjoint board of Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine, London (2002) and MD degree in Psychiatry from Ain Shams University, Cairo (2003). She is a member of Egyptian Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Association (ECAPA), World Psychiatric Association (WPA), Egyptian Psychiatric Association (EPA) and Egyptian Association Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (EACBT). She has more than 20 publications in the field of child and adolescent Psychiatry in eminent regional and international journals.
