Biography
Dr. Nour El-Din is a Water Resources Scientist with extensive experience of integrated water resources management and development in arid and semi-arid regions, water supply, rural sanitation, water resources planning, monitoring and evaluation of irrigation projects and drainage systems. His main experience is in Egypt, as well as several assignments in other countries as well through cooperation with consultants and international organizations such as FAO, UNESCO, and the World Bank. Dr Nour El-Din worked for the EU project "support of National Water Resources Plan – 2017-2037 , in Egypt as "Key Expert : Water resources" during the period Sep/2015 till May/2017. . Dr. Nour El-Din’s experience is acquired through his career as a university professor and as a consultant in several water resources and irrigation projects. He is teaching undergraduate and graduate courses covering basic and advanced science for engineering students. Besides, he is the secretary of the permanent committee of the higher university council for water resources and irrigation. Besides, he was appointed the director of the Environment and Climate Research Institute of the National Water Research Center, for almost three years. Dr Nour El-Din accomplished several assignments for the Ministry of Water Resources & Irrigation and Ministry of Agriculture.
