Biography
• Dr Safaa Mohamed Abdel‐Rahman Khattab. • Assistant professor of Medical Microbiology and Immunology. Faculty of Medicine‐Ain Shams University‐Cairo‐Egypt. • Graduation from medical school in Dec 2000 • Master degree in medical microbiology and immunology in 2007 thesis was to detect the prevelance of Ecoli 157 among children complaining of acute diarrhea • M.D. in 2009 was on expression of Toll like receptor 2 in chronic HCV patients • Professional diploma in infection control 2017. • Assistant professor in Faculty of medicine university of Ain Shams‐ Cairo since 2015. • Teaching medical microbiology and immunology for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students since 2002, supervising master and MD candidates since 2010. • A researcher in infectious diseases especially infections caused by antimicrobial resistant organisms (bacteria and fungi of medical importance) and interested in prevention of their spread and to find new diagnostic tools (immunological and molecular) for their detection. • twelve published articles in the field of medical microbiology and immunology and shared in writing and editing of student guide lines and e‐ learning courses in microbiology for medical students as well as nursing and dental schools.
