Biography
Presently, I'm an associate professor of Genetic in the faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University and a research scientist in Biology Centre ASCR, Institute of Parasitology, Czech Republic. My current project focused on the investigation of an origin of the exosymbiont (secondary host), the symbiotic partner in the secondary endosymbioses leading to the evolution of algae such as for instance diatoms, haptophytes, cryptophytes, chromerida or even apicomplexan parasites such as Plasmodium or Toxoplasma. Also, I have other small projects in progress to study the induced microRNAs of Chromera velia under Cadmium stress and the transcriptome of Pyrrhocoris apterus Central Nervous System under nematode stress. i have strong experience in the shell script, Python and R programming moreover i’m able to do high-performance computing (HPC) for big data using cloud which allowed me to develop my own scripts and in-house pipelines. From my belief in the importance of bioinformatics, I keep developing my skills.
