2) Academic qualifications, experience, and secondments:
- Bachelor1 of Science and Education in Biology (Natural History) from the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, May 1983.
- Bachelor2 of Science in Botany from the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, May 1987.
- M.Sc. in 1992 and Ph.D. in 1995 of the Plant Taxonomy and Flora from the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University.
- Included in the positions: Demonstrator 1983, Teaching Assistant in 1992, Assistant Professor in 1995, Associate Professor in 2001, and Professor since February 2008, specializing in Plant Taxonomy and Flora in the Department of Biological and Geological Sciences of the Faculty.
- Secondment to the Sultanate of Oman, Ministry of Higher Education, College of Education for Teachers in the Wilayat of Ibri, from 1998-2006.
- Published a number of 35 work, including 14 international papers in peer-reviewed specialized journals in: England, France, Germany, Japan, Sweden, Hungary, Pakistan, Malaysia, Nigeria; 12 local papers in peer-reviewed specialized journals; 5 in local and international conferences; and 4 Chapters in specialized international scientific books, and a number of university books until 2021.
Supervised a number of scientific theses in the Faculties of Education and Science, Ain Shams University, and referee for a number of scientific theses at the universities: Cairo, Ain Shams, Alexandria, Helwan, Al-Azhar, Fayoum, Zagazig, Tanta, Damanhur and Sadat-City.
- Arbitrator at the permanent scientific committee to examine the scientific production of professors and assistant professors' positions since 2013 until now.
- Arbitrator and member of the editorial board for a number of specialized botany journals, both internationally and locally.
- A trainer in the field of quality assurance and accreditation at the Faculty of Education and Ain Shams University from 2012 to 2018.

- Dean of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, since 2018 until now.

- Participant in developing academic regulations (bylaw's) both at the Faculty of Education and the Educational Studies Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities.
- Participant in the establishment of new scientific programs in the bylaw of accredited hours for the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, 2020.
- Participant in higher education development activities and projects in cooperation with: The United States Agency for International Development (USAID); European Union Program (ERASMOS +); The United Nations Agency for Childhood (UNICEF); The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)
- Participant in cooperation projects with universities of: Limerick, Ireland (Partnership between the university and the school); Leipzig, Germany (Joint diploma and master's); Temple, Arcadia and Drexel, USA, (Teacher preparation of STEM schools, STESSA).
