Biography
I am Dina Salah, Associate Professor of Biophysics at Ain Shams University's Physics Department. I am excited to explore potential collaborations. With a strong background in nanomaterial science, I have designed, studied, and developed nanocomposites, photoactive materials, biopolymers, and magnetic nanomaterials for various applications, including renewable energy, biomedical uses, and sensing technologies.
My research experience, including my PhD studies, postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Liverpool, UK, and research experience as a postdoc at the Laboratory of Radiobiology & Experimental Radiation Oncology at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) and Institute for Nanostructure and Solid-State Physics., Germany, has provided me with a unique perspective on interdisciplinary research. My training in various laboratories has equipped me with expertise in a range of instruments and techniques, including spectroscopy, microscopy, and cell culture.
As an Associate Professor at Ain Shams University, I am committed to fostering a new generation of researchers. I plan to involve postgraduate students from various Egyptian universities and research institutes, creating a multidisciplinary team that can drive innovation and produce high-impact publications.
