Biography
MAHMOUD I. KHALIL received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 1992 and 1996, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada. He is currently a Professor of computer and systems engineering. His current research interests include pattern recognition, computer vision, and deep neural networks.
