OPTIMIZING THE QUALITY OF MULTI-SLICE COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY IMAGES IN THE ASSESSMENT OF CORONARY ARTERIES STENOSIS

Abstract
Reducing the milliampere second leads to decreasing the exposure dose which is considered a very important factor in reducing the exposure dose.
In this work the total exposed radiation doses in units of equivalent dose (mSv) was found to be ranged from 10.30 mSv to 25.89 mSv, each dose was a some of doses corresponding to the different processing in the total scanning procedure the minimum dose which is nearly negligible which is the dose received during the topogram or the scout view less than I mSv the larger dose was found to be due to the dose received during the calcium scoring process 8.59 mSv.
