Abstract
Tu bercu losis is a chronic granulomatus diseases affecting man, the highest incidence of tuberculosis cases occurs among the elderly, the urban, under privileged and the immunocompromized.
Reports of multidrug resistant tuberculosis ansmg m recents, especially in association with acquired immunodificeincy syndrome have causecl great concern owing to the high case fatality rate.
The aim of this work was identification of mutation responsible for drug resistance, opens up new possibilities for rapid detection of drug resistant strains, molecular understanding of drug resistance and drug action.
