department of Assiut University Hospital. This study included
eighty children aged between 2-10 yr. The children were assigned

received distilled water orlly , "oral group" was given 0.5 mg I kg of midazolam orally, " rectal group " was given 0.5 mg I kg diluted with saline rectally and "nasal group" was given 0.2 mg I kg nasally.
