Abstract


CSU is allergic disease with more than 6 weeks continuous symptoms, this disease was considered as an auto-immune disease, results in allergic wheal formations and angioedema. Vitamin D at optimal levels plays an important role in adjusting innate immunity. People who has deficient or insufficient levels of serum vitamin D suffer from disturbance in immune system , so studies has been established to link between vitamin D and CSU , these studies try to assess the role of vitamin D administration in cases suffering from CSU , beside measuring serum vitamin D in these cases.
