Abstract
In this part, a new alcoholic sol-gel synthesis route to organic free ternary Na20-AI203-P205 xerogels, with P205 contents up to 67.5 mole% and AI203 contents up to 20 mole %, that could be melted to homogeneous glasses in air at remarkable lower temperatures than that applied using conventionally melting method for the same system was developed.
