Abstract

Summary


"Praise be to Allah, who hath guided us to his felocity: never could we have found guidance, had it not been for the guidance of Allah: In deed it was the truth." Peace and prayers be upon the Prophet, his family, kins, and those who followed his guidance.


Islam urges and stimulates for the pursuit of knowledge; as Allah Almighty states to the effect that "Those who truly fear Allah among His servants who have knowledge.", to the effect that "0 my lord! Increase me in knowledge", to the effect that "Say: Are those equal who know and those who do not know?" and to the effect that "Allah will raise up to suitable ranks those of you who believe and who have been granted knowledge." The Prophet (peace be upon him) also states that "He whom Allah is meant to benefit, makes him versed in religion."


The Ethics of knowledge include a sense of responsibility, honesty, humbleness, impartiality, equity, and working under knowledge. The sole fruit of knowledge is work. Knowledge has its specific ethics, including: making intentions right, constant learning, and revering and respecting the tutor.


Jurisprudence is one of the noblest and loftiest branches of knowledge. It is the only means through which right and wrong can be identified. Islamic jurisprudence is characterized by some features, such as:
I .It is based on Inspiration.
2.It encompasses all needs of life; as it tackles the three relationships that link human beings to his God, to himself, and to his society.
