HAEMATOLOGICAL ASPET OF OCCUPATIONAL ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD EXPOSURE

Abstract
The current study done on the 51 exposed available volunteers workers in Cairo North Power Station • They were taken randomly from different departments, they work at distance up to 150 meter from the electric generator sources and power lines.
The exposed group was compared with 51 control available
volunteers subjects , they work in administrative department in Ca1iro Electricity Distribution Company outz;;J!Ie the •proposed effective EMF i.e. more than 150 meters.
The studied workers were subjected to an interview questionnaire,
asking about age and duration of work especially on haematological symptoms and disease , previous occupational
history, past history and family history and smoking habits.
The blood samples were taken by venepuncture. The complete blood picture were done for the collectted blood Also, the statistical analysis, smoking analysis and search for correlation studies between age and duration of work versus exposure to1 EHF in the exposed group.
