Abstract
Changed lipid and apoprotein compost ion of serum lipoprotein is commonly found in patients with chronic liver disease, yet cholestatic diseases show a serum lipid pattern that is different from other chronic liver diseases. The aim of this study was to address the effects of the different stages of chronic liver diseases on hepatic lipid metabolism and its reflection on cholesterol, trigylceride. HDL, LDL, VLDL and apo A-I.
