Abstract
Presented by a Ph. D. student of faculty of agriculture, Ain shams university. This study was carried out at Ras sudr station, Poultry Research Unit, Nutrition poultry Department, Desert Research Center, and the chemical analysis were conducted in the Nutrition poultry Department laboratories, Desert Research Center, during the period from September to October 2016.
The present study was designed to evaluate the potential beneficial effects of addition of a mixture of acidifiers as a growth promoters to broiler diets on growth performance, hematological and some blood biochemical parameters, antimicrobial potentiality, , gut microbial and immune lymphoid organs.
A total of 405 one day old broiler chicks Ross 308 were equally divided into 9 treatment groups (n=45 , 15 in each replicate) as follow : control= (non- supplemented basal diet ) group ; Pre/Pro H (Basal diet supplemented with 100g/ton B. subtilis and 500g/ton Mannan Oligosaccharide) group; Pre/OAs H (Basal diet supplemented with 500g/ton Mannan Oligosaccharide and 2% Sodium lactate ) group ; Pro/ OAs H ( Basal diet supplemented with 100g/ton B. subtilis and 2% Sodium lactate ) ; OAs/Enz H (Basal diet supplemented with 2% Sodium lactate and 500g/ton Enzyme) ; Pre/Pro L (Basal diet supplemented with 50g/ton B. subtilis and 250g/ton Mannan Oligosaccharide) ; Pre/OAs L (Basal diet supplemented with 250g/ton Mannan Oligosaccharide and 1% Sodium lactate ) ; Pro/OAs L (Basal diet supplemented with 50g/ton B. subtilis and 1% Sodium lactate) ; OAs/Enz L (Basal diet supplemented with 1% Sodium lactate and 500g/ton Enzyme). Feed and water were offered ad.libitum during the experimental period which lasted for 35 days.
Data were collected in terms of live body weight, weight gain, feed consumption and feed conversion during the experimental period. At the end of the experiment, three birds from each group were randomly
