Abstract
The work described in this thesis outlines the design and synthesis of a series of quinazoline and/or quinazoline-4(3H)-one containing triazole, pyrazole or triazine ring as well as carbohydrate moieties. The reactivity of some quinazolin-4(3H)-ones containing triazine ring towards some
monosaccharides were also considered.
