Abstract
The present investigation was undertaken to study the morphological, physical, chemical and mineralogici characteristics on Halaib and Shalateen region, to classify and evaluate its soils. The studied area stretching between longitudes
35.2 (and 36.40- East and latitudes 2i 15 - and 23.15 - North . It is
caracterized by the presence of six physiographic units namely alluvial fan, alluvial plains, alluvial terraces, colluvial alluvial slope, aeolian plains and marine sediments.
