Abstract

This study was designed to compare and evaluate coronal microleakage when using two different designs of glass fiber reinforced posts with two types .of resin cements after thermocycling.

Forty Maxillary centrals recently extracted were selected with straight root canals, fully developed apices and average root length
16 mm ±1, mesiodistal diameter 7-6 mm and labiolingual diameter 6-5 mm at cementoenamel junction for standardization of the study . Crowns of the teeth were removed below the cementoenamel junction using diamond stone.

Root canals were instrumented using the step-back technique and irrigated using sodium hypochlorite solution then Final flush with EDTA and obturated with gutta-percha and ADSEAL sealer obturarted using lateral condensation technique.

Samples were then divided into 4 groups:

Group A: consists of 10 samples restored with tapered FibreKieer post and RelyX ARC cement

Group 8: consists of 10 samples restored with Parallel FibreKieer post and RelyX ARC cement.
