Abstract
The present investigation deals with synthesis of some new benzoxazine and quinazoline derivatives bearing abulky moiety at 2- position in order to study the stability and reactivity ofbenzoxazine nucleus towards some different nucleophiles. The hitherto unkoun 2- (3•,4•-dichlorophenyl)-6-8-dibromo-3,1-benzoxazin-4-one (1) was pre pared in situe by the action of 3,4-dichlorobenzoyl chloride on 3,5- dibromo anthranilic acid.
