Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is a common old .endocrine disorder. Many medicinal plants were used in the traditional medicine as a treatment for diabetes mellitus. Balanites aegyptiaca is commonly used in North Africa and Upper Egypt as an antidiabetic remedy.
