Management of Fractures Short Long Bones of Hand

Mohammed Abd Elaziz Nasr Salem;

Abstract

H
and fractures are the most common fractures in the body, most of them are managed by conservative means, but still some types of fractures need to be operatively fixed by stable means weither internally or by the use of external fixators.
Incorrect diagnosis and management of metacarpal and phalangeal fractures can have catastrophic consequences for patients, as much morbidity and disability can be prevented by instituting proper management at initial evaluation.
