Analysis of the Behavior of Pile Group Taking Into Account the Method of Installation and its Effect on the Single Pile and the Group

Abstract

The main target of the current research is to provide an integrated study and a full implementation of the method of the pile construction, on the purpose of reaching a rational and reliable bearing capacity with a quite tolerable settlement. For a lucrative achievement of this objective several previous work pertinent to our current research was presented. It was obvious that different definition of the bearing capacity of the pile was assigned by previous researchers, the difference emerged from such variation is mainly attributed to the method of pile installation, efficiency of the available piling rigs and the operating crew's skill as well.
