Abstract
Summary
linicalpracticeinaclinicalsettingprovidesstudentswithopportunitiestolearntheartofnursing,andmakesthemabletoapplytheorylearnedinaclassroominarealclinicalsetting,theclinicalsettingisnotonlyalaboratoryinwhichtolearnbutinterpersonalenvironmentwherethestudentsreceivecuesforpatientsandstaffaswellasclinicalteacherregardingtheircapabilitiesasnurse,thisexperienceinfluencesnotonlythestudentsacquisitionofknowledgeandskills,butalsotheirprofessionaldevelopmentaswell(Rochford,2009).
Theaimofthestudyistoassessfactorsaffectingtheclinicaltrainingamongpediatricnursingstudentsintechnicalinstitutes.

• WhatarethefactorsaffectingtheclinicaltrainingamongpediatricnursingstudentsinTechnicalInstitutes?

ThisstudywasconductedinNursingTechnicalInstituteatHaramHospital&HealthTechnicalInstituteImbaba(nursingbranch).
Subjects:
Asampleincludedavailable pediatric nursing students(70) as previouslymentionedsettings(25)studentsfromNursingTechnicalInstituteatHaramHospitalclass(3)and(45)studentsfromHealthTechnicalInstituteImbaba(nursingbranch)class(4).

Datawerecollectedthroughusingtwotools

Itwas adopted by the researcher (Manal, 1982).ItwaswrittensimpleArabiclanguage.Itconsistsoftwoparts.
Firstpart:Itconsistsof characteristic of pediatric nursing studentsinclude,age,academicyear,previousworkexperienceinhospitalandresidence.
Secondpart:wasdesignedtoassessfactorsthataffectingclinicaltraining, environmental factors, personal factors.
II-Observational checklist to assess pediatric nursing students performance:
Concernedwithstudents' performance regarding thefollowing procedures cord care, measuring apical pulse, measuring temperature, measuring respiration, Suctionand gavage feeding.
Scoringsystemforsecondandthirdpartofquestionnaire:
Responsesofparticipantswerecheckedagainstathreepointsthatrangenotimportantto important and veryimportant.oneachquestionthestudentsratesregardingfactorsthataffectingclinicaltrainingfrom0to2,with0respondingnotimportant,1respondingimportant,and2respondingveryimportant.Thetotalfactorsthataffectingclinicaltrainingforeachrespondentiscalculatedtakingintoconsiderationalltheitems.
