Abstract
Tomato, Lycopersicon esculentum is grown for its edible fruit and it is considered to be the second most commonly grown vegetable crop in the world while potato being the first. Tomato plants grown in Egypt are usually attacked by several injurious insect-pests, but usually two or three insect-pests species (key pests) are important and more serious in a particular season.
