Abstract

The present evolution and the recent concepts , in the treatment of anophthalmic socket; implant materials used in socket reconstruction , and management of postoperative complications are contracting the interest of many ophthalmic surgeons. The removal of an eye and the management of the anophthalmic socket remains a challenge.
