Abstract
This study was executed "carried out" to study the effect of school
1neal given to the elementary school pupils at "Gharbyia Governorate on their anthropometric measurements and scholastic achievement.
The study included a sample of --JOO" pupils of both sexes
(219 males & 81 femalcsJ their age ranged between 7-12 ,years old.
All pupils arc from "Zefta & Kafr Son bat" elementary schools. The sample of the pllpils wer·e subjected to the following studies:

Including school grades, studying status, veiJtilation status, home sanitation, water source, education level of parents, parents occupation, family income, number of the family members, chiid order, rooms number, crowded.J1ess ventilation, pocl

the lai·gest percentage.
Coiicerning the suitability of house the majority of males and females (89.9 & 88.9°/o) respectively were living in house with good fresh air.
