Abstract
This study was conducted on 30 infants and children with acute diarrhea as well as 30 infants and children with persistent . diarrhea among those attending the outpatlnt clinic of Children's Hospital A1n Shams University.
A cohort of 20 healthy infants and children was chosen to serve as a control group.
