Abstract
The leam ing c urve con cept has wi dely been a ppl ied to many i ndust1ial a pplications as a control tool to predi ct costs an d tim e req uirements .
The probl em of lot si ze detennination is o ne of t he most i mportant industrial applications t hat the l earnjng concept was applied. I n t his thesis, the wo rk is focused on t h e study of the effects of sehtp l eamin g on ca pacity constrai nts lot si zin g p roblem with variab l e demand a n d tim e varyin g capacity for both single an d mul ti product cases .
The present work is divided into fout· parts :
