Abstract
This randomized study is to evaluate four different therapeutic modalities for the management of variceal bleeding i.e. EVL, EVS, BB and SGED.
This study included 126 patients suffering from chronic liver disease associated with bleeding esophageal varices proved endoscopically. Patients were randomly divided into four groups Endoscopic Variceal Ligation group EVL (31), Endoscopic Variceal Sclerotherapy EVS (30), Splecectomy with Gastroesophageal Devascularization group SGED (32) and Beta Blocker
