Diagnsis of Stress Urinary in Continence and Detrusor Oueractivity by 3D TransPerineal Ultrasound

Abstract


We should stress precisely on the history and clinical examination tagether with urodynamics in cases of stress urjnary incontinence.
Trans perinatal ultrasound has a good role to improve the accuracy of diagnosis not only of the functional but also of anatomical disorders.It is easy, inexpensive, non invasive, and comfortable to the patients.
In our study, the tatal cases were 74 cases; 37 of them were normal controlin urodynamic study, , the other 37 patients had been diagnosed by urodynamic reports: 14 cases stress unin. Incontinence, 8 cases over active bladder., 15 cases mixed both, and related to all these the perineal ultrasound wasdone and correlated.
Thrnsperineal, a 6.5 MHz endo probe applied to perineumin axial and sagittal planes in mid sagittal line tovisualize pubic symphysis, urethra, bladder, vagina, anal canal.Examination was dane at rest with different grades of straining.
The results showed desent bladder meck 8 cases 21.6%, wide urethral diameter 9 cases 24.3%, increasedbladder wall thickness more than 4 mm, in 26 cases 70.3%wide post. Urethra vesical angl 6 cases 16.2% wide anterior urethra vesical angle 8 cases. 21.6%.
