Abstract
This study was conducted at the experimental farm of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Department in El-Kanater El-Khaireya (Kaliobeya Governorate), Horticulture Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center, and the Ornamental Horticulture Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, during the two successive seasons of 2012/2013 and 2013/2014. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of NPK fertilization, in comparison to cattle manure (at rates 15 or 30 m3/fed.), humic acid (at 1 l/fed.) and yeast (at rates of 4 or 8 g/l water) on the growth, yield and chemical constituents of Evening Primrose plants (Oenothera biennis), and to reach the highest productivity of seeds and oil by applying organic fertilization.
