STUDIES ON CITRUS NUTRITION IN MENOUFIYA GOVERNORATE

Abstract
The" present investigation was carried out for the two successive seasons of 1991 and 1992 on Navel orange trees (about 18 year sold) and originally budded on sour orange rootstock, in the Farm of Faculty of Agriculture, at El-Rahib, Shebin EI-Kom Menoufiya Governorate. The goal of this work was to study the effect of FYM. NPK fertilization and Fe, Mn and Zn foliar application on Navel orange trees yield and some of their physical and chimical properties. The obtained results could be summarized as follows.
1. The application of FYM, NPK and or foliar Fe, Mn and Zn improved the availability of all studied nutrients specially K at its highest dose (600 gm K20 I tree).
2. The application of FYM (150 Kg I tree)+ N (1500 gm N I tree)+ P205 (440 gm I tree)+ K20 (600 gm I tree) showed the highest available N, P, K, Fe, Mn and Zn values in soiI.
3. The treatment of Fe, Zn and Mn foliar application showed the least effective.
