Abstract

- Within the limitations of this study, we can conclude that ;

- 1.2% ATV into IBDs in individuals with CP stimulates a significant increase in PD reduction, CAL gain.

- Treatment with EMD resulted in significant PD reductions and CAL gains 6 months after surgery.

- Both EMD , ATV & B-TCP induce expression of BMP-2 by increase level in samples of day 7 and 14 respectively followed by decrease in day 21 samples for both Group I (ATV) & Group III (b-TCP), While Group II (EMD) continue to increase to day 21.

- CBCT have advantage of allowing observance of periodontal defects in all directions. The present research calls for further clinical investigation to confirm that this method is widely applicable for use in periodontal diagnosis.
