Investigation of Some Physical Properties for Mn Sn Se Alloys

Moharram El-sayed Hassan Abdel khair;

Abstract

In study of Semimagnetic semiconductor (sms), have been started since the 1970, for owing to interesting their magneto optical and magnetic-transport properties.
The present work is completely devoted to study the

transport properties of ternary Sn(l-x )MnxSe , and 0.25 x 0.05 . The ternary alloys Sn -Mn -Se were obtained with mixed ternary alloys such as Mn-Sn, Mn-Se, Sn-Se. the characterized of the
sample were made by XRD and DSC.

To identify the conduction mechanism of the prepared ternary, the current voltage was measured. Different models for non linear (1,V) charactistic were used. Such as:
a- Space charge limited current (SCLC).

b- Pool-Frenhel effect.

The mechanism of temperature dependence of de conductivity of the system (Mnx Sn1.x Se) was scaled in terms of a number of possible plausible models for electrical transport. Such as:
(i) Small-polaron variable-range hopping model (Triberis and

Friedman 81, 89).

(ii) The two channel model (Nagles et al1973).

(iii) The signal channel model (Vanderples and Bubb 1977, Mott and Davis 1973).
To understanding the electrical properties, the coefficient of Hall Effect

for the present system was measured in wide range of temperature from
