CARDIAC TROPONINS I&T AS MARKERS OF CARDIAC INJURY IN HEMODIALYSIS PATIENTS
MOHAMED SALAH ELDIN ZAKI;
Abstract
Cardiovascular complications are considered as the most important cause of death in patients with ESRD treated by regular hemodialysis (Krononberg F,et al, 1996).
So it was very essential to fmd a way to diagnose and to predict those complications as early and as accurately as possible for that reason we choose fifty patients on regular hemodialysis for at least one year
Twenty five of chosen patients known to have coronary insufficiency of variable degrees as evident by conventional enzymes, ECG, Echocardiography and thallium studies (table) (group A)
The other twenty-five patients were proved to be cardiac free as evident by the same methods mentioned before (group A).
