Abstract

Reciprocal ST segm ent depression during ac ute myoca rdi al infraction is a common cli nical finding occurrin g in 54-82% of patients. Such ST depression reflects th e remote n on-i nfracting myoca rdial wall and its pathogenies remains controversial

The presence of anterior ST depression during acute inferior myocardial infraction is associated with greater myoca rdium at risk and investigating the clinical signi ficance is so important, it may denote a remote ischemia due to coexisting significant LAD lesion or stenosis
