Updating Microanalytical Methods for the Determination of Some Heterocyclic Compounds

Abdallah Ali Abdallah Ahmed;

Abstract

The present work is focused on developing novel
electrochemical sensors based on potentiometric transduction
mode .pyrimethamine, domperidone and ramipril liquid
polymeric sensors based on ion exchangers are developed and
characterized .
Characterization studies are carried out according to IUPAC
recommendations. The three electroactive materials used in
chapter II are pyrimethamine tetraphenylborate,pyrimethamine
phosphomolibdate and pyrimethamine phosphotungestate.
Tetraphenyleborate and phosphomolybdaic acid was used as the
counter ion in chapter III and IV concerning domperidone and
ramipril respectively.
The performance of the sensors are optimized for
pyrimethamine, domperidone and ramipril quantification in pure
samples and in their pharmaceutical formulations.
The high recovery percentage and low relative standard
deviation reflect the high accuracy and precision of the proposed
method, moreover, the method is easy applicable to a wide
range of concentration, besides being less time consuming
