Abstract


his study is an observational prospective study, included 100 women aged between 25 and 35 years, was enrolled for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) with the inclusion and exclusion criteria:
Inclusion criteria:
• First stimulation cycle for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
• A long protocol for the use of a gonadotrophin releasing hormone agonist (GnRHa).
• The presence of both ovaries.
• Unexplained infertility.
• Infertility due to fallopian tube factor.
• No evidence of endocrine disorders including diabetes mellitus(normal TSH, prolactin).
• A Body Mass Index ranging from 25 to 35 Kg/m2.
• Not on hormone therapy as human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG),human menopausal gonadotropin (HMG) before ICSI cycle.
• No history of ovarian surgery.
• Serological markers for hepatitis B, C, and HIV are negative.
