Abstract


The wide spread uses of pesticides and the toxic effect of their residual level make their monitoring as essential ingredient for protecting both the environment and human health. It is now readily apparent that wide scale manufacture and use of pesticides results in exposure of man or contamination of food and environment . It is essential that we know whether the presence of such pesticides may reduce the productivity of our land or cause problems of human health. The way in which we obtain such information is to mointor or analyse crops, food , soil,. water, milk and animal tissues . The investigation include two main parts:-

1- The 1st Part include gas liquid chromatogra[Jhic analysis of fat, liver, kideny and meat samples ti•om both native and imported cows which collected hom Cairo abattoirs for determination of residues of some organochlorine pesticides.

2- The 2nd part Item 1 include gas liquid chronatogrophic analysis to detect the effect of different thermal treatments on some organo chlorinpesticide which fortified into (beef meat and fat) and (beef-liver and fat) in vitro Experiment.

Item 2 include gas liquid chromatogrphic analysis to detect the effect of different thermal treatments on lindane residue in (turkey meat and fat) and turkey liver and fat) in vivo experiment.
