A comparison of soft tissue ultrasonography, clinical examination andmagnetic resonance Imaging In son tissue lesions of the shoulder
Mohammad RaouF Abdel-Razik Hassan;
Abstract
The rum of this study was to determine the role of ultrasonography imaging in detecting underlying soft tissue lesions causing shoulder pain.
Also to explore the possibility that the combination of detailed clinical examination and ultrasonographical data are as informative as those detected by magnetic resonance imaging alone .
The project also aimed to assess whether it was feasible to detect adequately lesions affecting soft tissue lesions surrounding the shoulder area without referring large number of cases suffering from shoulder pain to the magnetic imaging unit, both to minimize the costs and the inconveniences to those patients.
Thereby offering a better health ·service to those patients with
Rheumatological problems seeking complete diagnosis and integral medical care.
