Abstract
This investigation was carried out during three successive seasons
2000, 2001 and 2002 on Halawy and Haiany date cultivars. Both cultivars grown on the orchard of the Faculty of Agriculture, Assiut University, Assiut, Egypt, where the soil is clay and well drained. This study was carried out used two experiments.
