Abstract


In this chapter we present an efficient computational method for obtaining the transient response vectors of a linear time-invariant system. A recent technique so called restrictive Pade approximation [ 14 ] is adapted and used to approximate the exponential matrix so that the resulted matrix in the explicit formula is in Hessenberg form
