ABIR ABDUL RAHMAN KOUSSA;

Abstract

The common Nile catfish Clarias anguil/aris were collected from areas near Cairo during the months of September and October, 1995. Following proper acclimatization in the laboratory, they were kept in glass aqumia filled with dechlorinated tap water and fed on minced meat. The 72 hr-LC50 values for cadmium and lannate were estimated according to the method of Reish and Oshida (1986).
