Abstract


Infertility defined by failure of to achieve a successful pregnancy after 12 months or more of appropriate, timed unprotected intercourse or therapeutic donor insemination.
For healthy young couples, the probability of getting pregnancy per a reproductive cycle is about 20% to 25% their cumulative probabilities of conception are 60% within the 1st 6 months, 84% with in the first year, and 92% within the second year of regular fertility – focused sexual activity.
Infertility may be due to several problems medical, psychological and economic problems.
There are several risk factors for infertility as age that affect on ovarian reserve by 81% making age the mostimportant factor in female infertility Others like life style, Environmental factor, weight changes.
Also male factor contribute by 45 – 50% of infertile couples.
