PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF INTRINSICALLYCONDUCTINGPOLYPYRROLE POLYMERS FOR APPLICATION AS ION SENSITIVE FILMS
Mohamed M. El-Dessouki Mahmoud;
Abstract
The general scope of the present thesis is the preparation and characterization of intrinsically conducting polypyrrole polymers for application as ion sensitive films.
In what follow, a brief description of the different chapters reported in this thesis is given.
1. In Chapter I
A general literature survey on the previous electrochemical preparation and characterization of polypyrrole polymer film is reviewed.
2. In chapter II
The experimental part involves the preparation of the various polymer films. It also includes description of the instrumentations used in the present measurements which cover the diverse electrochemical and analytical tools:
(a) Cyclic voltammetry.
(b) Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. (c) Photoelectrochemical measurement.
(d) Scanning electron microscope and EDAX detection. (e) Square wave stripping voltammetry.
