Abstract


Infection of the tonsils are the most common diseases in pediatri<;, the majority. of these infections are caused by group A beta hemolytic streptococci and viral pathogens are quite common. Futhermore, the tonsillitis is very common cause. of morbidity in young children such as rheumatic fever, acute glomerulo-nephritis and spread of infection for other organs result in pneumonia, bacteremia, l,Joneinfection or meningitis. Therefore, the tonsillectomy is the most commonly today in our country to reduce morbidity rate, moreover the pre and post-operative nursing care is basic to provide safi; nd, better operative outcomes and prevent post-operative complications \;specially hemorrhage .
