Abstract


The diabetic foot is one of the most serious and costly complications of diabetes mellitus. In the last decade, guidelines on the prevention and management of the diabetic foot can reduce the amputation rates by 49-85%.

Studies of diabetes mellitus have offered vital statistics on the disease. These informations that obtained and utilized in planning health sevices for diabetes and prevention of its complications.
