Abstract
In our community-based study, 138 children aged 6-12 years with mean age 9 years from a primary and a preparatory schools in a rural aea in Sharkia Goveronate were randomly selected.
The overall prevalence of Sm detected by stool analysis, after 12 months was 28% in GI who had received Pz therapy once at the start,
10% in Gil who received Pz therapy every 6 months•and 8% in Gill the
control group who had no Pz therapy.
