Abstract
The work 1s prospective study on 71 patients attending the chest clinic in Pediatric Children Hospital Faculty of Medicine Cairo University in six month duration starting from January 2000.
Diagnosis of patients was based on careful history taking clinical examination and specific investigation. Congenital forms of chronic chest trouble were 22.53%.
Acquired forms constituted 77.47%.
